Sensory Fun!
A three hour workshop for mom and dad to attend and learn how to engage with their child while experiencing sensory activities. Helping parents learn to create positive interactions that can help children calm and center. Ages: 3-5 years Cost: $60, with adjusted fee slots available Attunement Group A three hour workshop to help mom and dad learn to attune to their child. Parents will learn to actively notice when child is seeking engagement, seeking distance and wanting to engage in play. This is an active group that will consist of activities to build positive interaction between child and parent. Parents will learn positive principles in parenting, basic child development, and principles of scaffolding. Ages: 1-3 years Cost: $60.00, with adjusted fee slots available |
Systemic Training for Effective Parenting
One and a half hour group that occurs weekly for eight weeks. This group will teach parents of children 0-6 about development and behavior of this age range. Parents will learn how to build self esteem in their children, utilize healthy communication, learn how to teach cooperation, positive discipline techniques, social and emotional development of this age group and principals of therapeutic parenting.
Cost: $30.00 a session, with adjusted fee slots available
Helping your Children Cope with Divorce
Helping your child cope with divorce is a one and a half hour group that occurs weekly for eight weeks. Parents will learn how divorce affects children at different stages. Parents will learn positive communication tools to use with children and with their ex-partner. Parents will learn principles of therapeutic parenting and have opportunity to share triumphs and struggles with peers.
Cost: $30.00 a session, with adjusted fee slots available
