I am a Santa Cruz native, born and raised.  I love the diversity of the area and the colorful people that live here.  I love working with families and children. I have  worked with families and children throughout Santa Cruz County and Monterey County for over twenty years in various capacities. My passion is truly working with the family as a whole and being a true family therapist.

I have a strong desire to bring growth, support and change to the families and children that I provide therapy to.  I believe that it is important for families to have access to community resources and support to strengthen their familial support base.  For resources for your family click here. For low Cost activities for Santa Cruz County and Watsonville.

Just as each person is a unique individual, so is each child and every family.  There is no such thing as "cookie cutter therapy."  When working with a family I utilize a variety of techniques and theories to create a unique, personal, productive therapy relationship.

I am a strong advocate for early intervention and have seen huge growth for children that are fortunate enough to receive it.  I love working with children under five and am amazed at child development and early intervention. You can read more about early intervention here.     I like to look at how a child is being affected developmentally by family challenges, such as divorce and co-parenting.  There is more information on how a child is affected developmentally by divorce and separation here.
